My name is Sutton Vickery, and I’m the founder of Words Within.
I was born and raised in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, and from a young age I always had a strong drive to work hard and pursue what I believed in even when I didn’t always know what that belief was yet.
I didn’t grow up in a Christian household, and for a long time I felt distant from God myself. That began to change when I was around 14 years old, during my first year of high school. After getting into trouble at school and being required to complete community and church service, I walked into a church not knowing what to expect and ended up encountering something I couldn’t explain.
During worship, I felt a love and peace I had never experienced before. Without understanding much about faith at the time, I knew in that moment that God was real, and that I wasn’t alone. That day marked the beginning of my relationship with Christ and a new direction for my life.
Words Within was created from that transformation.
This brand exists to help others experience moments of encouragement, clarity, and peace through God’s Word especially during seasons when emotions feel overwhelming or direction feels unclear. Each jar is thoughtfully designed to offer scripture that meets you where you are, whether you’re feeling anxious, grateful, discouraged, or hopeful.
